I'm originally from the Netherlands, but I've lived in the U.S. for more than ten years now.  Colorado is my home, so you'll find that's where I usually set my stories.  You know, snow, mountains, pine trees.

I like to write about crimes.  Although my stories are not so much about these crimes or how they're committed (I'm no policeman, after all, and committing crimes would be a bad way to do research), but more about how they affect the people in them.

Hobbies: cooking, reading, watching movies with husband while eating lots of fancy cheese and drinking wine

Pet Peeves: Noisy eaters, people who cut across the parking lot
