About Me

I'm originally from the Netherlands, but I've lived in the U.S. for more than ten years now.  Colorado is my home, so you'll find that's where I usually set my stories.

I like to write about crimes.  Although my stories are not so much about these crimes or how they're commited, but more about how they affect the people in them.
Crime fiction is my way of exploring what pushes an ordinary person to break the law.

Appearances

I'm no different from most writers: I like to hibernate, read and most importantly write (while eating lots of peanut m&ms).  But because I also like to meet readers and other writers, I try to come out of my shell every once in a while.

Check below for conferences and events I'll be attending, and say hi if you see me.  I'm the tall one with all the freckles :-)

Mar. 6-9 2008: Left Coast Crime Denver

Feb. 1-4 2007: Left Coast Crime Seattle

I had a great time meeting some fellow writers and readers in Seattle.  And it didn't even really rain.
