The Ground Crew (YA Thriller)
David should be out driving in is his cool new car (a yellow 1971 Plymouth Scamp, with bumblebee stripe), but instead, he's grounded by his repo-man dad. Stuck in some cold basement while his dad's at work, along with easy Annabelle, super-jock Marcus and beautiful-but-out-of-his-league Laney.
Just as David thinks he's actually making some friends (and getting somewhere with Laney), someone starts taking members of the Ground Crew. One by one.
Hurting them. Leaving notes. Punishing them for what got them grounded.
Could it be one of those guys from his old school, the ones who beat David to a pulp? Or is there someone else with a grudge against the Ground Crew?
David and his new friends have to find who's out to get them. Before it's his turn.
